Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 October 2026. Please read these terms before using BuzzKit's tools.
Acceptance of terms
By using BuzzKit (this website and its tools), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
What BuzzKit is
BuzzKit provides free video, audio, image, and PDF utilities that run locally in your browser using WebAssembly, the Canvas API, and open-source libraries (including ffmpeg.wasm, pdf-lib, and pdf.js). No file you process is uploaded to a BuzzKit server — processing happens entirely on your own device. See our Privacy Policy for the full technical explanation.
Your responsibility for the files you process
You're solely responsible for the files you use with any tool on this site, and for having the right to use, edit, and convert them. Don't use BuzzKit to process content that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights, that you don't have permission to modify, or that is illegal to possess or distribute in your jurisdiction.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: attempt to disrupt or overload the site or its infrastructure; reverse-engineer the tools for the purpose of attacking or abusing them; scrape or republish the site's content wholesale as your own; or use any tool to create content intended to deceive, defraud, or harm others (for example, using any tool to strip attribution from someone else's copyrighted work without permission).
No account, no stored files
BuzzKit doesn't require an account to use its core tools, and because processing happens in your browser, we don't retain copies of the files you convert or edit. There's nothing on our servers to delete, because your files were never sent to them in the first place.
"As is", with honest limitations
BuzzKit's tools are provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. In particular:
- Results depend on your own device's processing power — very large files may be slow or, on lower-powered devices, may fail to complete.
- Techniques like background removal are algorithmic approximations, not generative AI, and won't be perfect on every image or video — see the relevant tool page and our About page for specifics on where each technique performs best.
- Some tools load a small open-source engine (such as ffmpeg.wasm or pdf.js) from a public CDN on first use; if that CDN is temporarily unreachable, the affected tool may not load.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BeezNez and BuzzKit are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or its tools, including loss of data, though nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Advertising
BuzzKit displays advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense and other third-party networks, to help support the cost of running the site. Advertising does not affect how any tool processes your files. See the Privacy Policy for details on advertising cookies.
Intellectual property
The BuzzKit name, logo, site design, and original written content are owned by BeezNez. The open-source libraries used to power individual tools (ffmpeg.wasm, pdf-lib, pdf.js, and others) remain the property of their respective authors and are used under their own open-source licenses.
Changes to the tools or these terms
We may add, change, or remove tools, and may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use BuzzKit after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
Governing approach
These terms are intended to be read in good faith and in plain language. If any part of them is found unenforceable in a particular jurisdiction, the rest remain in effect.
